Arclight On-Line - July 1 Meeting

July 1st Program Speaker:
Fr. Jean Claude Atusameso with the Jatukik Providence Foundation spoke to us about his work in Congo building EcoVillages that focus on Community, Education, Environmental Stewardship and Self-Sustainability, a program that can be adapted and duplicated as needed.

Fr. Jean decided to be a priest at the age of 10 so that he could make a difference in his world. At the age of 12, he went to the seminary. The foundation name comes from the letters in his own name and for him, it means being a provider to those in need.

The mission of the Jatukik Providence Foundation is to care for children so they’ll have a future, help with medical aid, provide job training, and develop the model EcoVillage Project.

Upcoming Events/Programs:
July 10th Inova Blood Drive 9:30 – 2:00, we need volunteers!
August 19 -21 County Fair
