Lunch & Speaker $25.00
This week at the Arlington Rotary, Corinne Gregory will be our guest speaker. She is a Rotarian from Redmond, WA who has developed SocialSmarts®, a system that teaches children from preschool to high school about manners, values, and ethics. She will discuss how our educational system is failing our children, the common underlying thread of failure, and changes needed to adequately prepare our youth for the job market beyond school. Her concept incorporates real-world application of the 4-Way Test and gives a perspective on this hallmark of Rotary that you probably never considered. This would be a good meeting to bring a friend who is a parent or grandparent. Corinne was featured in the Rotarian magazine earlier this year.
